Project Objectives
L.I.F.E. (Literacy for Every Child) is an education-driven mission under Presence House that aims to create equitable learning opportunities for children in rural and disadvantaged areas. Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty by empowering young minds with quality education, essential learning resources, and technology skills, ensuring every child has the foundation they need for a brighter future.
Project Vision
- Support Access to Quality Education: We provide school fees, shoes, and books, ensuring that children have what they need to attend school with dignity and focus on their studies.
- Expand Digital Literacy: We plan to partner with like-minded organizations to extend I.C.T. literacy programs in rural and disadvantaged schools. We aim to set up computer labs and introduce students to essential digital skills, preparing them for a modern workforce.
- Resource Libraries for Comprehensive Learning: We plan to establish libraries in schools to cultivate a culture of reading and self-education among children.
Selection Criteria
Our team identifies children and schools that would benefit most from the program through a comprehensive needs assessment. Criteria include:
- Rural or Disadvantaged Location: Schools and children in areas with limited access to education or resources.
- Commitment to Learning: We work with schools and families that demonstrate a strong desire to support their children’s education.
